The assessment takes into account the legal requirements of the Management of Health & Safety at Work Regulations 1999, regulation 3, ensuring that a bus, coach or minibus business does not overlook any of the legal duties expected by the law, if they have more than five employees and a duty to conduct a risk assessment at least annually.

Gauntlet’s risk assessments are also based on the guidelines set out in BS 18004-2008: ‘Guide to Achieving Effective Occupational Health and Safety Performance.’  This ensures that your workplace health and safety practices meet requirements to the letter of the law. 

The assessment, conducted by our friendly and professional consultants, will include a focus on specific hazards, such as the control of substances hazardous to health and those occurring within manual handling operations.    It will cover operations conducted away from the premises or head office through interview conducted with both employees and management, with these scheduled during the site visit.  Visits to other locations, to view other activities and hazards can also be arranged, with additional fees charged if necessary.
